We offer live, one-on-one classes taught by certified graduates of Al-Azhar University  the world’s oldest continuously operating Islamic university, founded in 970 CE. Our Story

When our founder opened Rahman School in 2015, online Quran teaching was still new and mostly unregulated. Many students were getting inconsistent quality  some teachers had solid credentials, others were self-taught. Parents in the West were struggling to find a reliable school for their children.

We built Rahman School to solve that problem. Every teacher we hire must be an Al-Azhar University graduate with formal Ijazah in Quran and Tajweed. Every student gets one-on-one attention via live Zoom (never group classes, never pre-recorded videos). Every lesson follows a structured curriculum with measurable progress.

What started as a small team in Cairo has grown to 50+ certified tutors serving students in North America, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Our approach hasn’t changed: authentic Al-Azhar methodology, delivered live, one student at a time.

What Makes Us Different

1. Every teacher is Al-Azhar certified. Al-Azhar University has trained Islamic scholars for over a millennium. 3. Structured curriculum with real progression. From the Arabic alphabet (Noorani Qaida) to full Ijazah certification, we use proven Al-Azhar curricula:

• Beginner: Arabic letters, harakat (vowel marks), and basic reading
• Intermediate: Tajweed rules, fluent recitation, short surah memorization
• Advanced: Full Hifz (memorization of the complete Quran), Ijazah certification with connected chain of transmission to the Prophet Muhammad ï·º

4. Works for every schedule. Our tutors teach 24 hours a day across time zones.
